The BOCTOK54 label establishes community based designs (e.g., shirts) and media (e.g., a local magazine) reflecting different aspects of a city's various neighbourhoods. The designs are represented in various forms - from clothing and accessories to items such as bags and mugs – and are inspired by local bus and streetcar routes. The idea is to capture a neighbourhood's distinct quality and represent these qualities with print media and images or logos that could, for example, appear on the front of a sweatshirt or which could be used by a local Business Improvement Area to market their own neighbourhood.

Our latest creations come from Hugh Morse (Based in London UK). Part of 54east's larger 'My Lost City' project these designs highighly what we lost when Metro Toronto amalgamated back in the late 1990s. These designs, along with our www.ScarboroNet.org community websites will hopefully reconnect us with our beloved local identities.

Here’s a sample of the designs Jeff Szuc Creative Director of FMD (and local artist) has created already as part of the BOCTOK54 label.
